The National Foster Care Association, together with their friends from Holiday Heroes and Huawei, provided with tablets 10 young people from foster families. The mobile devices will make their access to information and knowledge easier, and will help them in their free time. The brand-new tablets were delivered to the youngsters from Belogradchik, Haskovo, Pernik, Targovishte, Pazardzhik, Kyustendil, Shumen and Sofia.

Priority of NFCA is the investment in young people in foster care - foster youngsters and biological children of foster parents. This key priority was first raised by the Management Board of the Association back in 2013, and for the last four years the youth network of the organization is growing and has achieved its successes. The donation of the tablets continues the initiative to support young people.

"We believe that young people in foster care are particularly important for the development of this social care for children. Their experience is just as important as the one of foster parents”, said Miroslav Dolapchiev, president of the National Foster Care Association

The partnership between NFCA and Holiday Heroes dates back four years. Traditionally the two organizations, with the financial support of Mtel, donate food packages to foster families across the country on the occasion of Easter and Christmas.
