I am a very happy woman! Even though I love my work as an architect, I have found my true calling in charity work, and more specifically in working with children placed in foster care.

My experience began almost by chance - right after watching a television report on the topic I decided to step in as a volunteer in an organization. That’s how I embarked on the most amazing adventure in my life – being the foster parent of two children and hopefully more in the future! 

As an architect I have participated in many large and medium-sized projects, which have given me a true sense of professional and personal satisfaction. But that which makes me feel much more successful, which inspires and fills me with joy is my work with the children. This is the arena in which I feel I have the most to give the world and where I can invest my love, care, patience and calm, experience and knowledge.

My heartfelt wish is to continue seeing more and more smiles on the faces of these children; to see them growing more and more confident when they make steps forward and achieve their goals; to see how much happiness each good deed brings to them; and for them to bravely attempt the new and unfamiliar.

I truly believe that we are capable of helping children and providing a happy and peaceful childhood, helping them to become responsible adults walking fearlessly through life with a big smile on their faces.

The children and I are both only at the beginning of a magical journey. Sometimes we feel it is impossible to go on and other times we race forward at the speed of light.  I am not always the one who leads and sets the pace because we are together in this journey and each of us strives to be first and wants to be better than before. In reality, it is not important who leads in this journey. What is important is that we are together, that we share our love and that we want to learn and master hundreds of new things.

I am proud of my foster children and admire their strength and bravery and their loving hearts. Despite their difficult fate, they do not give up and we continue forward together. It does not matter who is leading the way.
