NFCA and Mtel Helped a Foster Family After a Fire Destroyed Their House

M-Tel employees got involved in a charity campaign to help the Cvetanovi family from Pavlikeni (Bulgaria), who lost their home after a devastating fire in the middle of January. The fire totally destroyed the home of Sashka, Stancho and their five children.

Sashka and Stancho Cvetanovi have two biological children, an 18 year old boy and a girl that is 16 years old, one child of 3 years who started out as their foster child and whom they later adopted, and two foster children - a boy and girl who have no biological connection. Fortunately, there were no injuries during the fire, but the family lost their home, along with furniture, clothes and funds.

After the appeal of the National Foster Care Association, the employees of Mtel got involved in the charity initiative for the foster family. For several years the telecom has been working in partnership with the NFCA to support foster care in the country, which is an opportunity for children deprived of the care of their parents, to grow up in a family environment.

Within days the staff of M-Tel gathered clothes and shoes, blankets and sheets, towels , utensils, cots and bedding , toys, stroller , electric stoves, school supplies , foodstuffs , detergents and sanitary materials , diapers and many others things for the family of Pavlikeni. By the end of the week a container with the donations will be delivered to the family in need.
