For a third year in a row 1bike bicycle workshop starts the campaign “Bike for Waste, Bicycle for a Child”. In partnership with Drag Zone stores, the bike craftsmen will repair old bikes and will make the summer of dozens of children happier. This year, their minimum goal is to cheer up 100 children, deprived of parental care and placed in foster families. Partner of the initiative is the National Foster Care Association, the only parent organization, defending the rights of children in foster care.

Unlike previous years, when the campaign was focused in certain cities, in 2017 it will reach children across the whole country. In case the donated bikes exceed the necessary number, the craftsmen promise to gradually repair all and cheer up even more children.

You can also help by donating your old bike, regardless of its condition. More information on how to donate and the points, where the bicycles are collected, can be found on the official website of the campaign - www.1bike.bg/kolelozadete.

In addition to donating a bicycle, you can support by becoming a craftsman. Anyone, who wish, is welcome to help in the repair of bikes. Within the campaign three volunteer weekends in Drianovo will be organized - April 29 /30, May 13/14 and May 27/28.
