Young People Prepared a Dinner for Friends of Foster Care

Six boys and girls from foster families spent a day in the kitchen of the elite chef academy – restaurant Talents, where they prepared a dinner for some very special guests together. Foster parents, donors, Mtel’s employees, friends and volunteers who support the National Foster Care Association in their activities were invited to the dinner organised by the National Foster Care Association and the Mobile Operator Mtel.

Under chef Georgi Partenov’s supervision the boys and girls from foster families prepared a four-course menu. Chef Partenov introduced them to the latest cooking techniques and trends. The chef of restaurant Talanti told the children how important it is to be ready to experiment without limitations, to use your imagination, even in cooking.

At the dinner the young people from foster families could share some of their stories and personal experience, their future plans and achievements with the guests. "With this meeting we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who makes donations, offers knowledge and the fruit of their labour in order to support foster parents and provide a happy childhood for the children” said Miroslav Dolapchiev, the chairman of the National Foster Care Association. He explained that, thanks to the financial help and free services and assistance provided by Mtel, the National Foster Care Association is able to expand its support to children and young people in foster care around the country.

The NFCA appreciates the co-operation with restaurant Talanti and it is very thankful to their host, the manager of the restaurant Angel Angelov and the entire team for the attentive and patient attitude, which they demonstrated toward the young people from foster families.
